Our Facility
Harkaway Farm is nestled in the heart of horse country on the North Salem/Brewster border. Our 30+ acre property sits adjacent to the North Salem trail system allowing our clients to walk right out of the indoor and onto the trails. Whether you're gearing up for competition or want to ride out for pleasure, we have the facilities to offer you and your horse a top-notch experience.
From November to April, clients have the option to either train in Brewster or compete WEF. Clients can enjoy the same full service board in Wellington as they do in Brewster throughout the winter season.
Indoor Ring
Our indoor ring is attached to the barn for easy and comfortable access year round. The large 215' x 115' ring is built with premium dust-free footing offering the ultimate level of traction, stability, and performance.
Stalls
Our horses enjoy matted 12' x 12' sunlit stalls. We keep our shavings nice and thick for maximum comfort. Each and every stall has a window to the outside so the horses can hang their heads out at their leisure
Outdoor Ring
The outdoor ring is an ample 200' x 130' complete with state of the art all-weather footing. The ring is well situated away from the paddocks and driveway to minimize distraction for the horses - offering a bit more safety for young and beginner riders - but with easy access right to the indoor and barn for the convenience of rider.
